Copra Meal (Expeller Cake)

Copra meal, also called copra expeller, is a by-product from copra crushing. It still contains fat and protein and is widely used as ingredient for cow and swine feed. Domestic demand for copra meal is still low as the vast majority of locally farmed livestock is poultry, and copra is unsuitable for use in poultry feed formulations. Thus we export most of the copra meal.Copra Expeller is the press cake (expeller cake) from the oil extraction from copra (coconut flesh) by mechanical process.
